Kane – Onsite Technician (2nd Line)
We are a not for profit managed service provider for schools.
We are part of an existing multi-academy trust, but support over 40 schools outside our 5 trust schools, ranging from small first schools to entire MATs.
We provide IT Support onsite, a central help desk, projects, training, broadband, SIMS support and much more.
We believe in being:
In life it is nice to be nice. And, when you are stressed because technology isn’t working, there is nothing more important then a friendly face to assist.
Understanding an issue, and how to work around it is a key skill, and going out of your way to provide additional support really impacts our users, we want to be approachable and to be told issues, so we can sort them out.
We want to resolve issues before they occur, if we can do this – we can change the way IT is used in schools to being more about engaging with the staff and tools, then being frustrated when things are not working. This means moving technology forward to ensure we are always at the cutting edge.
Ethos for our staff
If you are happy, and enjoying your job – you will be performing well. If we are flexible and supportive of you, we believe you will be back.
If your hard work has helped us grow, you should grow with us.
We really appreciate that our staff are the core of our business.
There is no other place like Lourdes IT in education to work.

We offer half termly internal training, we allow visits to vendor and supplier events, to BETT, time out to learn and apprenticeships

We are proud to use some of the most advanced technology to provide our networks and our support.
